Great Weather and Great Golf at Trilogy

Is that sunshine???

Hello to all you golfers. With the good weather coming this week, it is a perfect time to knock the rust off your swing and come join us for a round of fun. Through all of Mother Nature’s fury, Trilogy is now open for play and conditions are good. We have cleared all of the down trees, smoothed all of the bunkers and rolled all of the greens. Thanks to our maintenance staff working overtime to bring us the quality of golf we have all come to expect from Trilogy.

For all of you that are interested in the Men’s and Ladies Golf Clubs here at Trilogy, information is available here on our website and in the Golf Shop. Sign-ups may be taken online or in person with any one of our Golf Shop staff. Men’s Club dues are $130 and include a special gift set and a complimentary round of golf. Ladies Club dues are $55 and include 1 dozen Nike Lady Power Distance golf balls and a complimentary round of golf. We have an exciting schedule set for this year and are looking forward to a healthy diet of friendly competition. The first day of score posting for our Men’s and Ladies Golf Clubs will be March 1st.

For all you lovebirds out there come join Trilogy and the Nines Restaurant for a night of great food and atmosphere with that special someone in your life. Nines will have seatings available Saturday, February 10th and Wednesday, February 14th. For $35 dollars per person enjoy a wonderful, succulent 4-course meal prepared just the way you like. The courses include Stuffed Tiger Prawns, Mozzarella Medallions with Roma Tomatoes, Stuffed Flank Steak or Pan Smoked Chicken Breast and your choice of Port Poached Pears or House Made Chocolate Mousse for desert. Our full dinner menu will also be available during these seatings.

We have had several of you die hard golfers ask about information on the 2007 Men’s and Ladies' Clubs here at Trilogy. Sign-up and information sheets should be available sometime next week. We had an amazing 2006 with more than 200 Men’s Club and 100 Ladies' Club members. The “Championships” are tentatively scheduled for mid-August with the Member-Guest again being the highlight of the season. The official “Opening Day” for the 2007 season will be March 1st.

Even with the crazy weather we have been experiencing, the Nines Bar and Grill is open 7 days a week. Stop by and see Michael, JJ, Ryan and the rest of the crew for some good times and great food.

We would also like to welcome Greg Matz to the Trilogy family. Greg has been selected as Trilogy’s Head Superintendent. Greg received his education from Michigan State and joins us after a successful stint at The Members Club at Aldarra. Welcome to the team, Greg!

Trilogy hopes that all of you had a very happy and safe New Year celebration. 2006 has come and gone and we are now on the move in 2007.

And the winner is….Greg Calmes!!!

Trilogy is getting ‘07 off to a good start by congratulating Greg on being the winner of the Trilogy Trio Card drawing. Greg will have his pick of a custom set of King Cobra Carbon CB, FP or S9 irons. Way to go Greg!

We would also like to thank the hundreds of people who have joined the Trilogy Trio family. The Trio Card has been a great success and we can’t wait to se all of you over the next 3 months using those rounds! For those of you that haven’t joined, you can purchase the Trio Card online or by stopping by the Golf Shop.

December was definitely a wild month for the golf course. Between the rain, snow and windstorm our maintenance crew has had their work cut out for them. As always they have done and are doing an incredible job. The golf course actually escaped any major turf damage despite having more than a few trees fall during the windstorm. Hopefully Mother Nature will give us all a break as we start 2007.
