The Turkeys are coming!!!

The final Men’s Club event of the season is upon us! The annual Turkey Shoot Out is a stroke play event featuring prizes, games and of course, TURKEYS!!! Play is set for Saturday, November 18th. Call or stop by the Golf Shop to sign up.

The Men’s Club had a very successful season this year. Over 200 members strong, and 17 events made 2006 the best season yet here at Redmond Ridge. With the large membership also came larger payouts. Redmond Ridge saw a record $30,000 in merchandise and Shop Credit awarded to this years Men’s Club. Our signature event of the season was the 3-day Member Guest sponsored by Ameriprise Financial. The Club Championship was also a huge success this year with Ray Huff leading the way to his first trophy. Birdies and bogeys were in large order this season. Of course more bogeys seemed to find the scorecards in our Tipped and Tucked tournament where the golf course held her ground with insane pin positions and 3 putts galore.

The Ladies Club also had a banner year here at Redmond Ridge. Susan Bluhm won her first Club Championship with a stellar back nine effort. The Ladies Club also saw a huge increase in membership, reaching the 100 lady mark for the first time. The Ladies Member Guest was a great success with over 50 ladies participating and enjoying a fabulous meal prepared by the Nines Bar and Grille afterward.

Trilogy would like to thank all of the Men’s and Ladies Clubs participants for making 2006 the best year yet here at Redmond Ridge. We are looking forward to seeing what successes 2007 will bring.

Remembering Our Friend, Dennis Jones

Friends of Trilogy & Mr. Dennis Jones,

The Redmond Ridge team took a huge loss last week with the sudden passing of Dennis Jones. Dennis was part of the Maintenance Team and was respected as one of the most loved employees Trilogy has ever had. So many times people described Dennis as a “breath of fresh air,” “a great person,” and “a loyal friend.” He always seemed to know how and when to make someone smile and was always looking at the good side of people.

Dennis was with our Trilogy family from the very beginning. He was here through the entire grow in process and played an intricate role in Redmond Ridge becoming the championship course it is today. He treated the course as if it were his own. Even when playing, he was always at work. He replaced divots, countless ball marks, and always took the time to survey the land for things that could be done better.

Dennis had just been recognized as Trilogy’s September Star of the Month; of course, he was always nominated and could probably have won the honor every month. He brought a level of compassion, knowledge and light heartedness that everyone should aspire to.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in their time of need. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Dennis… may you never have to play from the rough again my friend.

From the staff at Redmond Ridge.
